Donations from AFSers who went to the US between 1947 and 1976, are being used to fund one AFS student to go to the US in 2011. This is a full scholarship, covering the entire participation fee. Who is eligible?

• Any student between the ages of 15-17 and attending a secondary school at the time of application, who meets the AFS application guidelines
• Students must be attending a 1-3 decile school and must exhibit academic achievement / leadership abilities / community involvement and want to go on exchange to the USA.

All eligible students with be considered for the initial Greyhound scholarship for 2011. The student will be notified of their success in November 2010 and be invited to the US Ambassadors function (TBC) to meet alumni.
